Twins! – January 23, 2013
Whatever the reason, It may have been Rosalie Messner’s birthday, we ended up out at the White Tanks. We had a picnic, then hiked the “waterfall” trail. The greater Phoenix ares is a DESERT! The waterfall at the end of the trail only has water falling, if it has recently rained. I’ve seen it “trickle”, but never fall. There are petroglyphs along the trail, and some say you can see UFO’s in some of the rock drawings. I found these twins, or should I say Siamese Twins, joined at the hip, as they say along this path. If you could see beyond the cactus, you would be looking directly into downtown Phoenix. Luke Air Force Base over flys this mountain range daily. Shot with my Rebel XT.
