Bee in Flight – January 2, 2013
This is the first notable picture I took with my very first Digital Single Lens Reflex camera (DSLR). A Canon Rebel XT. I’m located in the greater Phoenix Arizona area, where the winters are very mild. This was shot January 4, 2006 at The Pointe South Mountain on a “lunch” break. F9 – 1/320 second exposure at ISO-200, a faster shutter would have “frozen” the wings, but I like it the way it is. A sense of Motion. The other notable with this picture is that it was shot using the “kit” lens from canon. I have since upgraded most of my glass to “L”.
