Corner Market? – January 27, 2013

This sign is in old town Avondale. Its on the old State Route 85, not too far from where I live. I have no idea what the name of the market was. Its not there anymore. I like the texture, the layers of rust and paint. I’m not sure who the sign beckons anymore. Some day it will fall over, or an errand car will knock it down. I wonder how long its been here. There is a Circle K convenience store about a block away. Did the Interstate kill the market, or maybe the Circle K. Some questions will never be answered.
